Shenandoah Community Foundation awards $43K to non-profits

The Shenandoah Community Foundation has awarded grants to 14 local non-profit organizations who participated in the foundation's 2012/13 grants cycle. The grants, ranging from $900 to $10,000, were made possible by a gift to the foundation from Woodstock Anonymous.

Front Royal Elks donate $1K to library

Samuels Public Library announced the receipt of a $1,000 grant from the Front Royal Elks Lodge 2382. The money will be used to purchase new books for children and teens in the Youth Services department.
