Christina Furr of Middletown received the Horton Award in Ethics from the Humanities Division at Brevard College, which recently recognized outstanding student achievement in academics, leadership and athletics for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Fourth grade students at Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly hosted a "Live" Wax Museum at the School this week. The fourth graders dressed up like famous composers and pop musicians and performed at the School's Assembly and at two other times during the day.

The sixth grade class at Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly recently planted 1,000 shortleaf pine trees on the neighboring Windsor Farm in Huntly. The activity is a service field trip that this particular class conducts every year.
