Gretchen is survived by her husband of 49 1/2 years Arthur Allan Andraitis; daughter Sally Ann Marie Smiell (Joseph Edward Smiell), grandchildren Franz Joseph Smiell, Johann Christian Amadeus Smiell, and Johannes Antonin Smiell; and son Theodore (Ted) Sigmund Andraitis.

Visitation will be on Friday December 11th from 7-9 pm at Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg, VA. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Strasburg, VA, Saturday December 12th at 2 pm, followed by a reception. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
