How's that agate working for you?

Are you one of our readers who goes straight to the Daily's Sports Scoreboard when you pick up a copy of the paper? Was it easier to read this morning? I looked at the Scoreboard through my 2.50-powered reading glasses and the text didn't look as fuzzy to me as it did earlier in the week. I'd appreciate your feedback on that type size. Is it OK, or still too small?

Coming soon to nvdaily.com

In the next few days we will be launching the Virtual Newsroom at nvdaily.com to help you share your news with our readers. The Virtual Newsroom offers a place for you to paste in or type your news or news tips as well as the ability to upload photos from your computer. Once you've added your news, photo and contact information, just click the "Send My Submission" button and your news will be sent directly to an editor's desk.

The beauty of this online system is that your news won't get lost in an e-mail box full of spam, or buried in the hundreds of letters delivered to us each day from the post office. I know that we're going to like the new system because it will save us time - we won't have to retype your submissions. Watch for the announcement of the launch at nvdaily.com.

Getting to know you...

I'd like to thank the Strasburg Rotary Club for inviting me to speak about what's been happening at the Daily during their meeting this week at the Hotel Strasburg. What a great organization! If your group would like to hear about how to get your events covered, please give me a call. I'd love to meet with you.
