Where are those letters to the editor?
By Linda Ash
I would have run several letters to the editor in this space today, but, alas, they're sitting in draft status in our print/online publishing system. The reason - we couldn't reach the authors to verify the letters.
The best way to get a letter published in print and online is to add it to our Virtual Newsroom here: www.nvdaily.com/virtual or to email it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll call you to verify that you wrote the letter. It won't run unless we hear from you.
And speaking of Virtual Newsroom, you can use this online tool to upload photos, press releases, engagements, wedding announcements, business briefs, club and community news and story ideas. We prefer to receive community-submitted news via the Virtual Newsroom over email or faxes because it is the fastest, easiest way for us to access your news. Email can get lost, and faxes mean we have to retype the information - so those will go to the bottom of the pile.
