The deadline for letters and commentary specifically about the Nov. 6 election is Tuesday, Oct. 30. Anything submitted after that time will not be accepted for the print edition of the Daily. We will, however, accept letters for posting at nvdaily.com through 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2.
Submissions
We welcome reader letters, commentary and Cheers & Jeers.
Letters should be no longer than 350 words; reader commentary should be no longer than 750 words.
Letters and reader commentary must be signed and include the writer's address and phone number for verification.
Cheers & Jeers should be no longer than 100 words and may be submitted anonymously.
All submissions must not include website addresses or personal attacks. They will be edited for content and length.
