Jeers to our state senator who voted for a bill that flagrantly contradicts the state constitution. He knows it; the other 19 Republican senators who voted for it know it, too. Their effort to create a law in less than 30 minutes without discussion that negates the once-in-10-years redistricting requirement in Article II Section 6 of the constitution is atrocious. "The General Assembly shall reapportion the Commonwealth into electoral districts in accordance with this section in the year 2011 and every ten years thereafter" not whenever one party feels like it ... Remember this at election time."
