The memorial for the member of the Bradley family has been removed.
The following was reported by the Northern Virginia Daily on Feb. 11 regarding the memorial: (without corrections): "We're charged with making sure our streets and right-of-ways are safe for our town employees as well as making that our town looks to an appearance that we set the standards for."
After making that statement, please look around at some of the buildings within the town limits. I find it hard to believe that the memorial endangered any town employees.
For the complainers, what is it about a cross and flowers that you found so offensive? I hope the memorial did bring some comfort to a grieving family.
