Letter to the Editor: Beware of pigeons soaring over Strasburg
Editor: I recently bought items at a couple of businesses in Strasburg. While walking down the sidewalk, pigeons scrambled from a balcony above my head and pigeon waste fell on my jacket. The very next store I stopped at a woman was placing things on the sidewalk in front of a second-hand store. I suddenly noticed her finger was bleeding and told her about it. She said she must have cut it on one of the items. I informed her she had better be extremely careful because I had just gotten pigeon waste on my jacket, and if the waste were to land on her cut finger that she could get an infection. I think this is a more serious problem to be addressed than worrying about installing bump outs on Main Street. Chris Miller, Strasburg Copyright © The Northern Virginia Daily | nvdaily.com | 152 N.
