I understand tyranny as a monster that must be shut down. Compromising with the monster makes it stronger, and to compromise on important issues is a loss for freedom. We should never compromise on murder, rape or fraud. To do so is to plunder our God-given liberties.
Yes, I want to live free, but there seems to be no limit of lust the Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors has to spend on pet projects. They raise taxes at every turn and promote their personal agendas, then degrade those with different solutions.
Limited government is the answer. The current government mindset tends to inflict damage to taxpayers. Much damage has already been done in Shenandoah County in the last four years. What is the limit on how much our current Board of Supervisors can take from us without our approval?
Please stand as a Republican delegate for me, 7:30 p.m. March 28. Mass precinct meetings will be held in the 5th district (Toms Brook, Lebanon Church, Cedar Creek). Informed decisions on local issues will benefit Shenandoah County in 2013.
