Letter to the Editor: Ode to home-cooked meal

Being a small town resident who has eaten a lot of fast food, the question arises of where a decent place is to enjoy a home-cooked meal?

I had the privilege of experiencing such a place. It offered me the very kind of taste that I was longing for. It had me turned around wanting more. I could find no other place like it. The scent, the taste, I couldn't fathom. The restaurant was there one day and gone the next, leaving me now with just the sense of the taste of the baked cakes, freshly made cookies, hot coffee.
