Letter to the Editor: Siren is needed

This letter is in reference to the complaints about the Strasburg Fire Department's siren. I lived in the apartment next to Peoples Drug Store for 10 years. I never complained about the noise from the siren. If I was talking on the phone or to someone in the apartment, I would say "hang on a minute 'til the siren stops. I always felt it was needed and still do.
