Letter to the Editor: A danger is present on Boscawen Street

Editor:

The high stone columns on the mall at Boscawen Street in Winchester are causing trouble for pedestrians, but especially drivers who have no way of determining if someone is about to cross the street (often without looking first).

There ought to be no way for pedestrians to cross except between the columns. Common sense? Of course. Would a driver be charged if striking down someone with none? City take note.

Dana Hessling, Winchester
