Letter to the Editor: Shame on those who disgrace our flag

Editor:

While driving down Red Banks Road, I noticed cars slowing down for something in the road.

As I got closer, I saw that it was an American flag, and everyone was just driving by it. Being a Vietnam veteran, I pulled over and saved the symbol of our country from being run over.

Were the people who saw it there just too good to stop and pick it up?

Shame on all of you who just let it lay there!

Charles R. Towe, Mount Jackson
