Letter to the Editor: Central student appreciates opportunity of studying in U.S.

Editor:

The week of Nov. 11 was International Education Week. One element of the week is exchange students from around the world teach their American friends about their own countries.

This year Anika Stein of Germany, Taishi Ukai of Japan and myself of Armenia are hosted by Central High School. We presented information about our countries throughout this week to the school's students and teachers. I gave presentations for all my classes at school and on Friday we all made a presentation in the library, where everybody was invited to come and learn about our countries and cultures.

I appreciate the administration, teachers, and students at Central High for giving me the opportunity to attend school at Central and for making me part of the Falcon family.

Anush Petrosyan, Woodstock
