On Dec. 17, U.S. Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va. 10) announced that he would not seek reelection in 2014, but rather expand his vitally important work on national and international human rights issues. Wolf has served Virginia's 10th District since 1980, and he has done this with great honor, dignity and representing his constituents exceedingly well.
I have been privileged to assist on several of his election campaigns, and also have met him on numerous occasions. It would make a huge positive difference in Congress and to our nation if others there could lead as he has done.
While the boundaries of the 10th District may have changed over the years, Wolf's devotion to his constituents has remained steadfast. Let us all take time to thank him for a job well done, and wish him Godspeed as he feels called to continue to serve others.
