Letter to the Editor: Jail issues are par for the course

Editor:

Regarding the Rappahannock-Shenandoah-Warren Regional Jail issues: I'm sorry about the inhuman conditions, but it's par for the course.

The first time I got locked up in the old Warren County Jail they took my underwear because it was not white, and did not provide anything else. Talk about humiliation and dehumanizing. The only thing I had to wear was the orange jump suit.

As far as the attorneys not having access, it appears that there will be many pre-trial and post-conviction habeas corpus petitions based on the numerous due process violations cited. And there will be many convictions tossed out due to those egregious due process violations.
