Letter to the Editor: Letter confirms reader’s faith
The fruit of the spirit in the Christian Bible calls for love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self control.
In a July 23 letter to the editor. Gene Rigelon states that his wishful thinking is that Christianity would die and the world would be at peace. First of all, the only way Christianity would die in the world would be through genocide. Does this fit his definifion of a utopian society?
As I am writing this letter, militant jihadi around the world are raping Christian women, beheading young Christian boys, and yanking infants out of their mothers arms as they scream, and are plucking their eyes out all in the name of Allah. This is never mentioned in Rigelon’s atheistic rants.
Whenever there is a void in the world, something will take its place. There is only one thing the jihadi hate more then Christians, and that is homosexuals. Do away with the Christians in this country and radical Islamists will take over. Rigelon’s letters only confirm my faith in Matthew 10:22 — Jesus says, “You will be hated by all for my name’s sake.” How true.
