Letter to the Editor: Club appreciates efforts made for event

Quota International of Winchester wishes to thank the outlying community for its continued support during the 14th annual Kitchen Kapers event held Sept. 21. Quota’s 2014 recipient, Special Love, will benefit from much of this year’s proceeds due to the attendance of many Winchester/Frederick County residents as well as those from the surrounding area. We appreciate your participation in this worthy cause.

Quota extends its gratitude to the Connoisseur sponsors, Dave Holliday Construction, Inc., and Golden Seals Enterprises, as well as Simply Charming Boutique, Kimberly’s, Chico’s of Winchester, Wild Birds Unlimited, D’Vine Wines, L.L. McKee Salon, and Merle Norman for their benefits. We also acknowledge Anna Quinn Jeweler, the Eugene B. Smith Gallery and Buttercups for their generous donations and the Northern Virginia Daily for promoting this event.

Quota expresses a sincere appreciation to the following homeowners who graciously opened their kitchens for the tour: Dr. and Mrs. William Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Marty Niessner, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Quarles, Ms. Deb Rotundo, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Spangler. In addition, we thank the numerous purveyors who shared food and/or drink at this event.

It was a privilege to have collaborated with such willing and giving members of our community. Many thanks to all of you.
