Letter to the Editor: Let there be peace

Once upon a time in an African nation, the leader of a resistance group was being hunted by the government. So he went into hiding in the wild. After a time, he gave up hope and went to the nearest town.

Upon entering town, soldiers with rifles came out and lined up. The guy thought, “This is the end!” But you know what happened? Those soldiers saluted him! There had been a change of government while he was away and he was now president.

Sometimes, things like that happen to you. Just when all seems hopeless, everything turns out wonderful. Let there be peace in the world.
