Letter to the Editor: Supervisor makes endorsement for replacement
After 12 years as supervisor representing the Warren County Shenandoah District, I have announced that I will not be seeking a fourth term and will not be running this year.
It is with extreme confidence that I endorse and will be voting for Ralph Rinaldi in his bid to win the Republican nomination to succeed me as supervisor. The Shenandoah District Republican Canvass to select the party nominee will be held on April 23. Those citizens of the Shenandoah District wishing to cast their vote may do so at either the Warren County Government Center or the Linden Volunteer Fire Department from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
I have had the distinct pleasure to work with Ralph over the past 12 years in his capacity as a member of the Property Owners of Shenandoah Farms and most recently as the Shenandoah representatinve on the Warren County Planning Commission. I have found Ralph to be a solid conservative, working to make improvements in his community while balancing the need to keep taxes low for its residents.
The Front Royal-Warren County community has seen a tremendous amount of progress over the past decade but we still have things to accomplish. This progress has come about due to some tough common sense business decisions made by the Board of Supervisors. It takes leaders who will vote for what is right and the courage to stand up for their convictions for the long-term interests of the community.
Please join me in supporting Ralph Rinaldi on April 23 so we can continue our progress, while at the same time, keeping our taxes low.
Richard Traczyk, chairman, Warren County Board of Supervisors
