Letter to the Editor: Candidate has skills to balance school budget

Barbara Bliss, who is running for Shenandoah County School Board in District 2, is, for one, an amazing individual and wants what is best for our community and our public schools.

Barbara would bring to the board her experience of being a certified public accountant for quite a few major corporations in Northern Virginia. Having the knowledge and experience as a certified public accountant, in my personal opinion, is a plus for Shenandoah County Public Schools.

Barbara will be a member of our School Board who will spend our tax dollars in a conservative way, not just spend our tax dollars in a wasteful way. She will have the know-how to balance our school budget and be very effective in doing so.

Barbara is looking out for our personal bottom line. She wants the best for our children by giving them the best education possible.
