Letter to the Editor: Family Promise needs volunteers

Family Promise of Shenandoah County is touching the lives of our most precious assets – our children.

The program brings shelter, meals, and support services to families without homes through a network of local congregations.

Our goal is to provide food and shelter to homeless children and their families in order to secure permanent housing as quickly as possible.

By cooperating with other area agencies such as Social Services, Shenandoah County Public Schools, Continuum of Care, Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter, Cooperative Extension Service, Response, Inc., Shenandoah Community Health Clinic and Healthy Families of Shenandoah County, we have an opportunity to make a significant and positive difference in the lives of many.

Of course, volunteers are the heart of Family Promise. Do you want to make a difference? Contact Family Promise of Shenandoah County.
