Letter to the Editor: Incumbent has done an excellent job

Editor:

During my 40-plus years in law enforcement, I have had the opportunity to work with many commonwealth attorneys throughout my career. The majority have done a very good job, yet others performed minimally in their duties. In my opinion, over the past four years, Amanda Wiseley has done an excellent job representing the citizens of Shenandoah County and the Commonwealth of Virginia. She has always made herself available to questions or concerns by law enforcement officers in this county, regardless of the time of day, or day of the week.Amanda Wiseley has not only handled minor offenses in court, but has successfully prosecuted several high-profile cases over the course of her first term in office. She is highly respected in the law enforcement community and by the law-abiding citizens of this county.

Amanda regularly keeps law enforcement officers in Shenandoah County informed of newly enacted laws and describes how they impact citizens and law enforcement agencies. She is always available to give guidance to law enforcement officers to ensure successful prosecution of cases and to make sure that the best possible service is being provided to the victims of crimes.

The manner in which Amanda Wiseley conducts herself in performing her duties as commonwealth attorney reflects most favorably on herself, her staff, and the citizens of Shenandoah County.
