Letter to the Editor: Kudos to all involved in fundraiser
Quota International of Winchester wishes to thank the extended community for its support during the 15th annual Kitchen Kapers event, held Sept. 20.
Quota’s 2015 recipient, Special Love, will benefit from much of this year’s proceeds due to the participation of patrons not only from Winchester and Frederick County but from the surrounding area as well. We appreciate their continued support of this worthy cause.
Quota extends its gratitude to the Connoisseur sponsor, Golden Seal Enterprises, and to Chico’s of Winchester and Wild Birds Unlimited for their benefits. We again acknowledge Eugene B. Smith Gallery for the donation of an original artwork and Harry A.H. Ewald for his meticulous pen and ink drawings of the houses exhibited. Quota thanks the Northern Virginia Daily for its excellent coverage of this event.
In addition, we sincerely thank the following gracious homeowners: Claudio and Debra Buono, Jerry and Kimberly Needles, Pat Snapp, Steve Surber and Gina Sullivan, and Chuck and Sally Walters. Quota acknowledges the numerous local purveyors who greeted tour participants with an appetizing array of food as well as the florists who provided final touches through their elegant displays.
It was a privilege to have collaborated with such willing and giving community entities and individuals. Many thanks to them all.
