Letter to the Editor: Candidate cares about quality of education
Donna McEathron is running for the School Board position in South River District in Warren County, hoping to fill the vacancy being left by current School Board Member Joanne Cherefko.
I have known both Danny and Donny McEathron for many years. However, since Donna announced her candidacy for the School Board position, I have gotten to know Donna quite a bit more in depth. We shared stories of growing up and what has made her the person she is today. And I have to tell you, I truly have the utmost respect and admiration for her as a person.
Her family is first and foremost, followed by her love of animals. But she also cares deeply about this county and the direction of our schools. Both of her children have graduated from Skyline High School, and yet she still cares about the quality of education in Warren County. Donna would like to continue the progress that the current School Board has made and work to address the needed repairs and renovations at Ressie Jeffries Elementary. I think Donna is the best choice to get that done.
