Letter to the Editor: If you can’t afford it, then don’t buy it

Editor:

Surprise once again: the answer to our county’s over spending – you guessed it – raise taxes.

I have been blessed by God with good health and long life, but it brings a problem with it in the form of fixed and dwindling income.

Jesus tells us give to Ceasar what is Ceasar’s. I may have to give my home to Ceasar, even though it is not his.

I would like to leave our public servants with a guideline I use – if you cannot afford it, do not buy it.
