Letter to the Editor: Trump presidency would be a disaster

Editor:

I’ve seen many letters to the editor regarding Donald Trump and the campaign.

It would be an utter disaster if he wins the White House.

He says that he is a good businessman. The way I look at it, a good businessman doesn’t cut and run when the business goes bad. He stays and tries to get said business back on an even keep. Trump just pulls out (with some profit) and leaves everybody else holding the bag.

People say they like what Trump is saying. To them I would issue the words of my morning reports instructor at Fort Dix 65 years ago. The sarge said, “Listen to what I am saying, not what you want to hear.”

Good advice.

If the electorate makes a mistake and elects Trump president, give him one or two years and when things start to go bad he will resign and we the taxpayers will be paying for his retirement and Secret Service protection for the rest of his life.
