Letter to the Editor: Remember what truly makes you a winner

Editor:

The current presidential election cycle has prompted me to ask this question: what determines a person’s wealth? Is it the amount of money in his bank, or the amount of love in his heart?

Is it the number of impressive accomplishments in his resume, or the number of faithful friends in his life?

Do you demand respect, or do you respect others? Do you promote divisions and drama, or do you promote unity and peace? What is important in life is not how much we get, but it is how much we give away!

The “game of life” is serious, but it is meant to be enjoyed by all. Life is not always fair, but we have to play fair. There are both winners and losers, but always remember what truly makes you a “winner.” I sure wish Donald Trump could read this and learn something from it.
