Letter to the Editor: Anyone can make a difference
We are two students writing on behalf of the Peter Muhlenberg Middle School Sixth Grade Gifted and Talented Program.
We would like to inform the public about the #WeRemember campaign. Our teacher recently showed our class a video about nine women who survived the Holocaust. They spoke about issues like hate, racism and also how we can help to stop it. With the help of a few teachers, we would like to tell the public about our idea. We think that we can make a difference in the world, but we would need more people to know about this campaign. We are not just doing the #WeRemember to remember the Holocaust, but we are standing against so many other acts of hatred and discrimination.
We need others to believe that anyone can make a change in the future, no matter what race, gender, or beliefs.
