WASHINGTON -- Herman Cain, the former Godfather's Pizza tycoon who wants to be president, embarrassed putative 2012 Republican frontrunners Rick Perry and Mitt Romney in the Florida straw poll by winning it with 37 percent of the vote. Thus was born the latest boomlet, and temporary spotlight, for a hopeful sans real hope of gaining the White House.
