Apple & Pear Scones
Serves 8 2 ½ c. flour Preheat oven 375 degrees. In bowl, add first 6 ingredients. Blend with pastry blender - cut in butter until coarse crumbs form. Stir in fruit and buttermilk till dough holds together. Transfer dough to ungreased cookie sheet. Shape into 9" round. With floured knife, cut round into 8 wedges.
