Fresh Fruit Salsa

1 -1 ½ c. chopped fresh peaches or pineapple (fresh is better when available)*
½ c. diced red onion
1 ½ T. chopped fresh cilantro
2 T. honey
¼ tsp. fresh chopped/seeded pepper (jalapeno/Serrano)
1 T. orange juice
pinch of salt
2 T. lemon juice (keeps fruit from turning)

Mix and allow to sit to combine flavors. I serve this over a marinated or spiced/grilled pork chop. Can also be served with grilled fish (fresh peaches are wonderful when in season). *Be sure to drain fruit (reserve 1 tsp. juice for recipe) if using canned fruit.
