Italian Hamburger Casserole

2 lbs. hamburger
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
½ tsp. garlic salt
2 cans crescent rolls
1 can cream chicken soup
1 jar pizza sauce
cheddar cheese, shredded
salt & pepper to taste
½ tsp. Italian seasoning

Brown hamburger, green pepper, onion and spices together in skillet, drain. Mix in bowl, beef mixture, chicken soup and pizza sauce. Press out crescent rolls into 13x9x2 pan sealing spaces between roll. Pour mixture over rolls, top with cheddar cheese. Bake 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is browned.
