Sweet & Sour Burgers

Serves 6-8

1 lb. ground beef
18 ginger snaps
1 egg
½ c. brown sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
¾ c. raisins

Mix together brown sugar, vinegar, tomato sauce and raisins. Set aside. To the ground beef, add crushed ginger snaps and the egg. Stir to mix. Then add half of tomato sauce mix and make into patties. In skillet, brown each side of patties. Then pour the remaining sauce over burgers. Simmer 20 minutes or until they are finished cooking.
