Apple Crisp

Serves 8

6 c. Granny Smith apples, peeled & thinly sliced
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 T. butter or margarine, melted

Topping:
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. butter or margarine

Mix apples and other ingredients together. Place in a greased 8 inch pan. Combine topping ingredients until crumbly; sprinkle over apple mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve with whipped topping.
