Blueberry Buttons

Yield: 4 dozen cookies

3/4 c. butter, room temperature
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 extra large egg
2 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. granola
1/2 c. fresh blueberries

Mix together butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs until fluffy. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and ginger and granola. Blend. Finally, mix in blueberries until just blended. Drop scant tablespoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
