Broccoli Puff

Serves 6

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli flowerettes
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. mayonnaise (I use Miracle Whip)
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs (unseasoned)
1 T. melted butter or margarine
1 tsp. dried parsley

Cook broccoli and cool, but DO NOT OVERCOOK. Drain well and place in a buttered 10x6x1/2 inch glass dish or similar size. Stir together soup and cheese; add milk, mayonnaise, beaten egg and parsley to the soup and cheese mixture. Stir until blended and pour over broccoli in the baking dish. Combine bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle over broccoli mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
