Carrie's Best French Toast

8 slices white bread, fresh
4 extra lg. eggs
2 T. whole milk (add more if needed)
2 T. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat skillet on medium heat, spray with Pam. Mix all ingredients except bread in large bowl. Dip each slice of bread in mixture to coat both sides. Drip off excess. Place in skillet and cook until browned; turn once and brown other side. Top with pancake syrup.
