Fried Green Beans
Serves 8-10 2 1/2 c. flour, divided In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 c. flour, salt and pepper. Add beer, whisking until smooth. In a large dutch oven or large frying pan, pour oil to a depth of four inches. Heat oil to 375 degrees. In a shallow dish, place remaining one cup flour. Dredge green beans in flour. Dip coated green beans into beer mixture. Fry green beans, in batches, if necessary, for 3-4 minutes per batch, or until browned and crispy. Remove from oil, and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with Spicy Dipping Sauce. Spicy Dipping Sauce: In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate. Nancy J.
