Hash Brown Brown Potato Casserole

1 lg. pkg. hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 small container sour cream
3/4 c. melted butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. grated sharp cheese
2 c. crushed corn flakes
Mix first 5 ingredients, reserving 1/4 c. butter. Put in a greased casserole dish or a 9x13 baking pan. Mix remaining butter with corn flakes and spread on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
