Low-Cos Teriyaki
Serves 4 1 lb. beef liver Cut liver into small strips, removing only membrane from edges. Combine soy sauce, water and sugar in a 1-cup measure. Heat oil in large skillet. Add onions and sauté 1 minute. Add liver, brown quickly and stirring constantly. Lower heat, stir in soy sauce and mix. Cook until thickened. Add pepper, garlic and salt. Serve over hot rice.
