Macaroni & Cheese

1/2 lb. macaroni
1 tsp. butter
1 egg beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
3 c. sharp cheese (grated)
1 c. milk

Boil macaroni in salt water until tender - drain. Stir in butter and egg. Mix mustard and salt with 1 T. hot water and add to milk. Add cheese, leaving enough to sprinkle on top. Pour macaroni into butter casserole dish, add milk mixture; sprinkle rest of cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees about 40 minutes until custard is set and top is crusty.
