Milton's Prize Pecan Pie

1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. white Karo syrup
1/3 c. melted butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Unbaked pie shell (2 regular size)

Beat eggs and sugar together. Stir in all other ingredients, adding pecans after blended. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
