Mock Lasagna

1 lb. sausage w/sage
7 oz. macaroni
15 oz. can tomato sauce
6 oz. American Cheese (grated)
1/2 tsp. basil leaves
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. salt & pepper
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. cottage cheese

Brown sausage, drain. Add 1/2 c. water, tomato sauce, basil, garlic salt, salt & pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes. Cook macaroni and drain. Layer all ingredients just like regular lasagna. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until right consistency.
