Best Bread Pudding

4 c. milk
1 2/3 c. sugar
3 T. butter (may need to use more)
3 eggs
1 T. vanilla flavoring
1 T. butter flavoring
1/2 to 1 loaf old bread
Melt butter in a 9x13 pan. Dip bread into butter. Stack 3 stacks, 3 high in pan. Mix other ingredients. Pour over bread. Bake 350ยบ for 45 minutes.
Sauce:
1/2 c. butter
1 small can evaporated milk
1 egg yolk
1 c. sugar
2 shot glasses of rum or 2 capfuls
rum flavoring

Cook over low heat 15-20 minutes. Pour over bread mixture. Let sit 15 minutes to soak into bread; serve warm.
