Braised Pork Chops Royale
Dredge chops with mixture of salt, pepper and flour. Brown both sides with onions in cooking oil. Add water, cover and cook over low heat 1 hour. When chops are done, combine 1/2 can of dark sweet cherries and syrup with cornstarch. Cook and stir until thickened. Serve over pork chops with white rice or wild rice.
