Cheese Burger Soup

1/2 c. onions
1/2 c. celery
1 c. shredded carrots
1/3 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. pepper
1 lb. velvetta cheese
1 lb. hamburger
2 c. butter
3-4 c. milk

First... for white sauce, melt 2 c. butter and add enough flour that it absorbs the flour. Add salt & pepper and 3-4 c. milk. Boil and stir until thick; add cheese. Set aside.

Second... Brown burger, adding onions and celery. When browned, add to cheese sauce and let cook until semi-thick. Turn heat off and add the carrots.
