Kielbasa Sausage in Sweet and Sour Sauce

2 rings of pre-cooked Polish Kielbasa
(sliced into 1-inch chunks)
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 T. corn starch
1 T. soy sauce
1 20-oz. can pineapple chunks
1/4 c. water

Bring 3/4 cup water to a boil. Add 1/2 c. of brown sugar and stir for one minute until dissolved. Set pan off heat while blending 1 T. cornstarch, 1 T. soy sauce, and remaining cold water, to a paste. Add to the brown sugar/water mix, with the 1/2 c. vinegar, over heat until the mixture boils and thickens. Remove from heat. Add sausage chunk pieces. After having drained off juice from the pineapple chunks, add those in with the sausage.
