Lunch Bunch Treat - Third Place

Serves 6-8
1 lg. loaf French bread
1 ( 8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese,
softened to room temperature
1 pkg. dry Hidden Valley Ranch
Original dressing mix
1 c. sour cream
1 c. or more finely chipped cooked
chicken breast or ham
4 c. veggies (your choice, grated
carrots, onions, peppers, celery,
tomatoes, green chilies, even
grated zucchini)
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
Finely chopped basil, sliced black
olives
Dash of cayenne and salt

Slice bread lengthwise, place on baking sheet. In small bowl mix cream cheese, sour cream and dry Ranch mix. Add dash salt and pepper. Spread mixture over inside of both pieces of French bread. Arrange pieces of chicken or ham over top of cheese mixture. Mix 4 c. of veggies together and pack on top of chicken or ham. Top with grated cheese. Decorate top of each with sliced black olives. Lightly sprinkle cayenne on top (optional). Bake 12-15 minutes in 400ยบ oven until bread is crispy and cheese is melted. Can be assembled night before, wrapped in Saran wrap, put in refrigerator. Next day remove an hour before baking. Leftovers may be microwaved 20 seconds.
